GRANBURY — Marshall Earle Black, 75, passed away Sunday, April 6, 2014, in White Settlement.
Graveside service: 11:15 a.m. Thursday, April 10, 2014, at Dallas – Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas.
Memorials: Mission Granbury, 3611 Plaza East Court, Granbury, Texas 76049.
Marshall was born Nov. 25, 1938, in Cleburne, to James Maurice Black and Tennie Lee Gray Black. He married Roswitha Weigel, Aug. 3, 1976, in Cleburne. Marshall was retired from the U.S. Army and a recipient of the bronze star. Marshall was a member of VFW Post 7835 where he was the past Post Commander.
Survivors: Wife, Roswitha K. Black of Granbury; brother, Byron Black and wife, Barbara, of Burleson; nephews, Ronald Black and wife, Sharla, of Arlington, David Black of Arlington; and family member, Virginia Anderson.
