Martha Eisen Blacklock 93, went home to Jesus on Wednesday, December 14, 2016.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, December 19, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 1800 West Freeway in Fort Worth. Committal will be at 2 p.m. at Azleland Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Martha was born January 22, 1923, in Ganado, Texas, to Johann and Christina Eisen. The family moved to Hamilton County when she was 5 years old. As a young girl, she picked cotton with her family. She was always thankful for being raised in a loving Christian home and having a Christian education. She moved to Fort Worth in 1943 to find work. She met and married Glen Blacklock in 1951 and has lived in Lake Worth since 1953.
Martha retired from Montgomery Wards in 1985. She loved the Lord and was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church for over 70 years.
She was surrounded by a large family and many close friends whom she loved dearly. She will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Glen on March 18, 2002; her parents; eight brothers; and two sisters.
Survivors include her daughters, Glenda Mash and Regina Gordon and husband, Randy of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Angela Muzquiz, Laura, David and Matthew Mash; Destiny, Grace, Nathaniel and Sarah Gordon; and 10 great grandchildren.
