Martha was born on April 21, 1940 in Flagstaff, Arizona to William and Nezzie Clark.  She was preceded in death by two daughters: Kathy Brandvold and Debbie Garcia and by a sister: Mary Fowler.

Martha is survived by her husband of 54 years, Jim Willis, children: Alan Willis and wife Aileen of Glen Rose, Stephen Willis and wife Tammy of Glen Rose, and Diane Backues and husband Brian of Glen Rose, grandchildren: Belinda Opera, David Willis, Dale Willis, Lisa Haley, Laura Thompson, Ronnie Willis, Sean Willis, Travis Willis and Samantha Gosling, 14 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren, and siblings: Robert Clark and wife Sharon, Paul Clark and wife Verna, and Naomi Thoenes and husband Ted.
