Martha I. Draper, 70, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away Sunday, Jan. 29, 2012, at her home in Newark.
Funeral services will be at Noon Thursday in Biggers Funeral Chapel with burial in Aurora Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Biggers Funeral Home.
Martha was born Jan. 5, 1942, in Fort Worth to Grover and Louise Ferguson. She had been a resident of Newark for over 40 years and was a retired office manager.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a son-in-law, Ricky Youngblood.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Louie Lee Draper of Newark; children, Ricky Draper and wife, Tinna of Azle, Lee Draper and wife, Cinda Ann of Boyd, Teresa Youngblood of Newark, Kelly Griffin and husband, David of Blum, and Kimberly Smith and husband, Richard of Corsicana; sisters, Joyce Chaney of Sterling Kan. and Janett Gilbert of Grand Prairie; 21 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
