Mary Elizabeth (Betty) Avery was born Feb. 22, 1924 in Atlanta, Georgia and passed away Feb. 25, 2013 at the age of 89 years, at Glen Rose Nursing & Rehab Center.
Funeral service: 2 PM Thurs., Feb. 28, 2013 at the First Presbyterian Church in Granbury.
Interment: Holly Hills Memorial Park.

She was married to Ben F. Avery, Jr. for over 68 years and was preceded in death by her oldest daughter, Janice. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Granbury, TX and enjoyed golfing, cake decorating, needlework and was devoted to her husband and children.
Survivors: husband, Ben F. Avery, Jr; son, David Avery and her youngest daughter, Cathy Avery.
