SAN ANTONIO — Mary Jan Fallis McGuire, 60, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2014, at her mother’s home in Granbury after an extended illness.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, 2014, at the Langdon Center Concert Hall in Granbury.

Jan was born Oct. 1, 1953, in Dallas, to Claudie M. Covey Fallis and Seth Bowen Fallis. She graduated Lake Highlands High School class of 71 and went on to study at the Art Institute of Dallas. She was a truly gifted artisit. Jan was a loving mother and aunt. She loved the beach and made many lifelong friends wherever she was. Preceding her in death was her father, Seth Bowen Fallis, sister, Kae E. Wells, her special uncle and aunt, D.R. and Bendette Covey of Seagoville, Texas.
Survivors: Son, James Bowen McGuire and wife, Amy, of San Antonio; mother, Claudie Biangardi of Granbury; brother, Railey B. Fallis and wife, Lisa, of Azle; sister, Marcie Ulrich and husband, Mark, of Garland; niece Angela Wells of Hurst; nephew, Seth Wells of Granbury; aunt, Doris Selman of Granbury; cousins, Deborah Salch and Dane Selman, both of Granbury; niece, Molly Jones and nephew Curtis Fallis of Fort Worth; numerous geat nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving extended family and friends.
