As a young child Mary’s family moved to the Midland/Odessa area. She married Paul J. Bickle on March 22, 1939. The couple moved to Monahans, Texas where they lived until 1974. There they raised their three daughters, Betty Bickle May, Patricia Bickle Adams and Beverly Bickle Grage.
After Pauls retirement, they moved to Granbury, TX. where they built a home. Mary and Paul were active members of the Granbury Church of Christ. They loved their Lord and continued to be strong in their faith until death.
After Paul died in 1988, Mary continued to live in their home in Granbury, staying active with “antiquing”, and playing “Skip-Bo” and “42” with friends. Mary also spent many hours baking and cooking foods for elderly friends, and taking much effort to assure that her friends were well cared for.
In 2009, after dementia and declining health required nursing home care, Mary moved to the Sunflower Park Nursing facility in Kaufman, Texas, where she resided until her death.
