Ouida was born August 3, 1929 and passed to our Lord and Savior peacefully on September 13, 2016. She was the first of four daughters born to Opal and Buster Smith in Tolar, TX. She is survived by her three sisters, Ina Laws of Azle, TX, Jere Huston of Tolar, TX, and Janey Brooks of Richmond, TX. Ouida joins her oldest daughter, Jeanette Vaughn, in heaven and is survived by two children, Debbie Campbell and Bill Campbell. She leaves behind five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren as well as many beloved nieces and nephews. She was a devout member of the Granbury Church of Christ. A skilled wrangler of generations of Granbury second graders, a creative handywoman, a patient, kind, and humorous optimist, and an adventurous world traveler, she made our world a better place.

Memorial and service will be held at Tolar Church of Christ, Saturday September 17, 2016 at 2PM.
