Sue retired from Southwestern Bell after 28 years. She retired on Friday and started working at Tri-County Electric on Monday. She vested and retired from there as well.
Sue and her husband Rich, loved to travel in their motorhome until health issues forced them to stop. Her number one priority in life was Jesus Christ. She joined Walnut Creek Baptist Church in Reno, Texas in 1975. She has been an active and devoted member of her church since that time even teaching her Sunday school class until her health wouldn’t allow it.
Sue was an avid Dallas Cowboys and Mavericks fan and could be found yelling at the tv during games. She played sports in her youth and often gave her boys and their friends pointers at the hoop. She loved the outdoors spending much of her time camping and tending her yard.
Sue was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Richard; her parents; and brothers, Ed and Joe.
She is survived by her 4 children, daughter, Jayme, sons, Robert (Susan), Randal (Kristie), and Patrick (Ann), stepdaughters, Dana and Cynthia (Mike), special daughter-in-law, Karen Connole. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandson, brother Freddy and sister, Peggy.
