Mary Teresa Bleck

Granbury — Mary Theresa Bleck, 86, of Granbury passed away Saturday, Nov. 21, 2015 in Granbury.
Memorial service: 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 27, 2015 at Lakestone Terrace Chapel, Granbury.
Mary was born Nov. 25, 1928, the fourth youngest of 12 children, in Byron, WI to Henry and Petronella Hefter. After graduating from St. Mary’s Springs Academy in Fond du Lac, she attended Georgetown University in Washington, DC. She worked for the US Dept. of Defense as a legal secretary. Mary moved to Chicago, IL and was godmother to Bob Grebe. Her family and friends were always her major concern.
Later as a Dallas resident, she was executive secretary at GDynamics and Hunt Oil Co. Everywhere Mary went she made new friends. She served as president of Dallas Toastmasters and Handwriting Analysis. In 1961 Mary was authorized by the Supreme Court of Texas for shorthand reporting and continued her career for 22 years at Dallas County Allen Courthouse in civil court for Judges Jim McCarthy and Joe Burnett. In 1985 she married Kirk Foster and for 20 years they resided in Richardson, Phoenix, Hot Springs Village and Granbury. She voluntered as a hospice caregiver and the Salvation Army. In 2009 she married Fred Bleck. They enjoyed traveling and Mary loved to play piano, dancing, playing bridge and card games. She was recently preceded in death by Fred Bleck, her husband for 6 years, and her 5 brothers and 4 sisters in WI.
Survivors: Sisters Anne (John) Seastrand of Greendale, WI and Evelyn(Lee) LaVallee of Aquanga, CA; over 50 nieces and nephews throughout the USA; step daughters Rhonda(Jack) Aulick of Cypress, Connie Bleck of Sante Fe, Martha (Bob)Foster of Norman and step son Terry (Lynn)Bleck of Overland and their families.
