GRANBURY — Maurice Loyd Reynolds, 87, passed away Sunday, Nov. 23, 2014 in her home in Pecan Plantation in Granbury of a long illness. Graveside service: 9 a.m. Wednesday in Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery. Memorials: Wounded Warriors or the National Kidney Foundation.
Born July 27, 1927 in Baird, TX, Maurice was the daughter of Frank and Leathy Frazier Loyd. She graduated from Baird High School and Del Mar College in Corpus Christi and became a registered nurse. She married Charles F. Reynolds, a soldier from Seminole, OK. and made friends all over the country as she followed him during his army training, further education and his career as a geologist for Conoco. They lived in Seminole, OK, and Midland, Corpus Christi, Houston, and other places. She loved OU football, art history, beautiful dishes, and travel. Maurice was preceded in death by her husband in 2009 and their son Charles, Jr. in 1970.Survivors: Daughters, Anne Felix and Catherine Reger and husband, Dennis; grandchildren, Gregory Mueller and wife Kari, and Julie Jara and husband Jim; and great grandchildren, Matthew & Taylor Mueller; and Dominic, Christian, Ethan and Alexander Jara.
