Mavis Voncille Pennington went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday January 17.

Service:  1 pm, Friday, January 21, 2022 in Biggers Funeral Chapel

A private burial will be held for the family

Voncille was born on November 12, 1934 in Paducah, Texas to JB and Lenora Davidson. She married Johnny Raymond Pennington on March 25, 1950. They had three children: Shellie Elaine, Johnny Vonn and Pamela Sue. Voncille worked for Mitchell Department Store for 25 years. She also worked at Tiny Toms convenient store in Azle for 20 years and was loved by all of her frequent customers.

She is preceded in death by her parents, JB and Lenora Davidson; husband, Johnny Raymond; son, Johnny Vonn; and sister, Karen Parker.

She is survived by her daughter, Shellie Pennington, daughter, Pam Dickey and husband, Bubba, grandson, Chad Geeslin and wife, April, granddaughter, Sloan Crow and husband, Justin, granddaughter Amber Oates and husband, David, grandson Bryan Pennington and wife, Maria; great-grandchildren, Bailey Cardiff and husband, Tyler, Laney and Addison Geeslin, Ellie and Gatlin Crow; and great-great-granddaughter, Rebel Cardiff.
