Melvin Edward “Eddie” Nobles, 61, passed away on the morning of Friday, November 18, 2016, at his home.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, November 22, in Biggers Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Azleland Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Funeral Home.

Eddie was born on November 17, 1955, in Fort Worth to William E. Nobles and Josephine Nobles. He graduated from Azle High School in 1974 and Masonry School in 1980.

He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting, and outdoor cooking. His family and friends will remember him as someone that could always make them laugh.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Josephine Nobles, and his brother, William “Bill” Nobles.

Survivors include his father, William E. Nobles of Lakeside; brother, Robert A. Nobles of Lakeside; children, Rachel N. Nobles, Elijah E. Nobles and Daniel B. Dixon.
