Michael David Harmon, 48, passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2016.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 29, in Biggers Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in Goshen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Paschal Kirby, Neal Langham, Justin Harmon, Casey Langham, Kenneth Harmon, and Matthew Harmon.

Michael was born December 15, 1967. He graduated from Lake Worth ISD, and went on to earn a degree from UNT. Michael was an intellect with a kind and caring soul. He cherished time with his family the most, and will always be remembered by those who knew him best as an amazing artist, son, brother, uncle, and friend. Michael held several jobs, but his career achievements include working as a federal agent and police officer. Michael once noted that his fondest memories were the basketball games played in Granny Beth’s driveway during family get-togethers.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Leona Elizabeth Harmon.

Michael is survived by his father, Harold Paul Harmon; sister, Patti; brothers, Doug and Kenny; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Wow, I did not know that Michael had been a federal agent or a policeman. I remember Mike being quite, kind, always smiling & very smart. Every Dec. I thought of Mike because Terry, & my son, Colin & his birthdays were all the same. I will miss you my sweet cousin. I love you, Uncle Paul, Patti, Doug, Kenny & the rest of the family. Mike was one of my best employees at Glacier water service. Mike had been with us for 13 years. As I was running his route this week I seen something on his route and wondered why it was that way and for a brief moment I said I should call Mike and ask him, That is where I miss him so much. Mike had a great memory and I could always count on him to remember things and remind me. Mike all of us at Glacier miss you and think of you daily. We hope and pray for your family.
