GLEN ROSE — Michael Gene “Mike” Turner, 51, passed away Friday, Oct. 31, 2014, in Fort Worth, with his loving family by his side.
Funeral: 11:00 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 6, 2014, at Northside Baptist Church in Weatherford. Burial: Gordens of the Valley Cemetery in Weatherford. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Wiley Funeral Home in Granbury.

Mike was born Dec. 30, 1962, in North Richland Hills, to Barbara Butler and the late Gene Turner. He married his beloved wife Karyn Turner and they had four beautiful children together. He was an amazing husband, father, step-father, son and friend. Mike was the eternal prankster who never met a stranger and loved to make others laugh.
Survivors: Wife, Karyn Turner of Glen Rose; children, Shawn Hankins of Weatherford, Jordan Mullinax of San Antonio, Gina Turner of Weatherford, Eric Vernado of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Ezrea, Katelyn, Kate, Aiden, Macy, Devon and Colby; mother, Barbara Butler of Granbury; brother, Moose Whitfield of Glen Rose; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, extended family and a host of loving friends.
