GRANBURY — Michael Lovis Austin, 67 passed away Nov. 2, 2015 at a Fort Worth Hospital.
Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Nov. 21, 2015 at Wiley Funeral Home in Granbury.
Michael was born Jan. 5, 1948 in Tulsa, OK to Billy Lovis and Margaret Ann Laden Austin. He had moved to Granbury in 2001. Mr. Austin grew up in Mt. Pleasant, TX, retired from AT and T after 30 + years. He enjoyed photography, gardening, music, reading, chess and sports especially The Dallas Cowboys.
Michael was preceded in death by his father, Bill Austin and step-father, Bill Hughes.
Survivors: wife, Susan Primo Austin of Granbury; Daughters Monica Austin and husband Jim Stillwell of Lewisville, Michelle Austin and husband David Lee of Eldorado, Ark; step-daughter, Rebecca Anne Schumm of Washington, D.C.; step-son, Zachery Tyler Schumm of Richmond, VA; grandchildren, Mason Brewer, Shea Lee, Caleb Lee and Joshua Lee; Mother: Ann Austin Hughes of Granbury; brother, Eric Austin and wife Julie of Aledo; sister, Bonita Whitney and husband Richard of DeCordova and niece and nephew, Amanda Whitney and Chesley Lee.
