Mike Overstreet

James Mike Overstreet, 68, passed away Friday, July 9, 2021 in Granbury, Texas. He was born December 14, 1952 to Maxie and Jacqueie Overstreet who preceded him in death. He was a graduate of Granbury High School and attended Sam Houston State University and Tarleton State University.

Mike spent the majority of his working career in construction and agriculture related businesses, primarily ranching. He resided at the Overstreet Family Ranch in Clifton for the past 15 years. Mike always had a smile on his face and never met a stranger. He was the type of person that would give you the shirt off of his back if you needed it. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.

He is survived by son Brandon and wife Jennifer, their children Shayden, Tripp and Andi; brothers Lee Overstreet, Joe Overstreet and wife Cheryl, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mike attended Zion United Church, 1411 FM 219, Womack, TX  76634; (254) 675-3599. Donations may be made to the church in lieu of flowers.

Services will be held Tuesday 7/13 at 10:00 A.M. at Wiley Funeral Home, 400 E. Hwy 377, Granbury. Visitation will be at the same location Monday evening 7/12 from 5:00 to 7:00. Burial will follow the service at Holly Hills Memorial Park.
