GRANBURY — Mildred Jacqueline Keeton, 88, passed away Sunday, March 20, 2016, in a hospice unit at a Fort Worth hospital.
Graveside service: 11 a.m. Wednesday March 23, in Acton Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday March 22, at Wiley Funeral Home, 400 Highway 377 East, Granbury.
Mildred was born in Collin County on Oct. 29, 1927, to Thomas and Florine Bowers.She grew up in Dallas and later moved to Pecan Plantation near Granbury with her husband, E.L. Keeton. Her favorite job was always as wife, mother and grandmother. She spent the last 25 years in Fort Worth near her children.
Everyone who knew Mildred loved her.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, E.L. Keeton; son, Rick Watson; and parents, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Bowers.
Survivors: Daughter, Randy Bowers (Philip); son, Stanley Keeton (Lynda); daughter, Jackie Keeton; grandchildren, Leah Hamill, Kelby Keeton, Kory Keeton, Katie Rothberg, Kelsey Rothberg and Bonnie Rothberg and Sheri Karpinski; five great-grandchildren; sister, Nadine Harris of Frisco; and brother, Tom Bowers of Glendale, Ariz.
