Milton Claude Taylor, born April 11, 1942 in Sweetwater, Texas died, January 21, 2022 in Fort Worth, Texas

He served 4 years in the USAF before being employed by IBM Corporation and completing his degree at the University of Houston. His work at IBM included supporting NASA missions from Gemini and Apollo, including mission control for Apollo 13, and the Space Station. He finished his IBM career in Southlake, Texas and moved to Austin, Texas after retirement. He owned MicroShield of Austin for several years.
The move to Lake Worth in May 2021, was the fulfillment of his dream to complete his earthly life on a lake.
Milton had the privilege of serving as a deacon in Anderson Mill Baptist Church in Austin, TX and Eternal Faith Baptist Church in Manor, Texas and was a member of First Baptist Lakeside.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Milton and Louise Taylor; and five sisters, Geraldine, Jewell, Betty, Virginia, and Helen.
Milton is survived by his wife, Rosemary Taylor; daughter, Laura Reetz; sons, Dale (Tamara) and Greg (Natalie); granddaughter, WeiAnna Widget; sister, Pearline McElyea; brother, Wayne Taylor; and many nieces and nephews.
