Mozelle E. Garren, 93, passed away on Monday, May 8, 2017 in Granbury, Texas.

Mozelle was born on April 13, 1924 to James and Elizabeth Hicks in Quanah, Texas. She grew up on a farm, where she was one of eight children. She was strong willed and sometimes stubborn. She enjoyed gardening and sewing and was an accomplished seamstress. “Bell” was the name given to her by her grandchildren. She was a member of Rainbow Baptist Church. She loved her Sunday School class and her church. She was preceded in death by her husband Otis Garren, three sisters, four brothers, and her only daughter Linda Jones.
Mozelle is survived by her granddaughters: DeVonne Roehmer (Bill),and Amanda Jones (Chuck) , great grandchildren: Brandi McLerran, Rhae Ann Goodson (Brooks), Megan Singleton (Will), Stacy Hickey (Justin), great great grandchildren: Addie Rhae, Knox, Tuf, Emery Pearl and Heston and other extended family members.
