Nahwana Nowell, 82, passed away January 20, 2016 in Waco, TX.

Gathering: 1:00 – 5:00 p.m. Saturday, January 23, 2016 at the Hilton Garden Inn, 635 E. Pearl St., Granbury, TX.  All family and friends are invited to come and share their memories of Nahwana and to celebrate her life.

Nahwana was born Nov. 11, 1922 in Vera, Texas, she was married to J.D. Wagner on October 26, 1952, he  preceded her in death in January, 2002. She moved to the Clifton community in 2002 and taught school for twenty years at  Milsap, TX,  Happy Hill Farms and Whitney ISD.

Nahwana was preceded in death by her mother; Mary V. Ritchie; father, Aubra B. Ritchie; sister, Geneva Reed and grand-daughter, Stacy Nowell.

Survivors: Sarah Doty and husband Kyle of Clifton, TX, Rodney Nowell and wife Valarie of Rockport, TX; Stephen Nowell and wife Pam of Dangerfield, TX; sister, Fleta Parker of Mart, TX; Brother, Weldon Ritchie and wife Gay of Garland, TX; six grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
