Sid Hargrove left a message on November 10, 2015:
I've known Neal for over 35 years. I don't know how many Suburbans that he wore out driving all of Texas and the Southwest part of the United States. I was always amazed at him as he played softball well into his 60's. But even in his latter years, I learned from Joy - Neal never would have told me this as he was too humble - he spent most of his days helping others. Just this past December I went down to Granbury to watch my hometown of Throckmorton play a six-man football game. As Diane, my wife and I were leaving the stadium and walking to our car, all of the sudden I heard Neal's voice, "Sid Hargrove, is that you?" Amazing that a man his age could hear like that. My heart, thoughts, and prayers go out to Joy, Sshelly, and Carla, the grandchildren, and great granson, Jack. May God's peace that passes all understanding be a healing balm to each of you as you deal with that inevitable sense of separation as we know it in this life.
