Nelda Dollarhide

Nelda Fae Dollarhide, 88, of Tolar, passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2019. Service: 10:00 AM, Thursday, March 28, 2019, Tolar Baptist Church, Interment: Tolar Cemetery, Visitation: 6:00 PM -8:00 PM, Wednesday, March 27, 2019, Wiley Funeral Home, Granbury.
Nelda was born on March 23, 1931 in Weinert, Texas to William and Bessie Everitt. She married Preston Dollarhide on April 28, 1951 in Fort Worth. She was a wonderful cook who feed everyone and who always had sweets for Preston. She was a doting grandmother, whose main focus was her family, church, and community.
For more than 50 years, Nelda was a nursery worker and member of Tolar Baptist Church. For her dedicated service, the church named the nursery after her. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, two nieces, and two nephews.
Nelda is survived by her husband of 68 years, Preston Dollarhide, daughters: Beverly and husband Bill, Becky and husband David, Kathy and husband Paul, Karla and husband Paul, and Carol and husband Jeff, 13 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, siblings: Barbara Kopczynski, and Jim Everitt and wife Wanda, sister-in-law: Arnita Breeding, and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
