Nolan made an impact on everyone he knew – most importantly his family. He taught us the importance of faith and hard work – both of which allowed him to take pleasure in the many things in life that brought him joy. He loved playing his guitar and singing Merle Haggard songs, riding horses, tending his cattle his garden and his yard, farming, and most especially…football, football, football! But the pride and joy of his life were his grandchildren. He tried his best to spoil them rotten, and embarrassed them at times with his bragging…but they never doubted how much they were loved. We’ll miss you “Papa Nolan”.
Nolan was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Joyce Richrdson.
