Granbury — Norman West, 73, passed away Monday, June 20, 2016.
Graveside service: 11:00 AM, Monday, June 27, 2016, Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park, Colleyville, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Lung Association or the American Diabetes Association.
Norman was born on April 13, 1943 to Joseph and Francis West in Chicago, Illinois. Norman served in the Texas Air National Guard 147th CAMRON at Ellington Field from July 24, 1964 to July 23, 1970. He went to the 3478 School Squadron from January 1965 to October 1965 for the military occupational specialty of an Airman First Class: Electronic Navigation Equipment Repairman. He was discharged with an ANGUS honorable discharge as a SSGT on July 23, 1970.
Norman enjoyed building model airplanes, boating, fishing, and computers. He loved teasing the grandkids, and was known to be a prankster.
Norman is survived by children: Melanie and Jack Laessle, Daren West, Darla Jordan, grandchildren: Taylor and Virginia Jordan, Dustin Jordan, Cole Laessle, Lauren Warfield, Logan West, great grandchildren: Lailani Jordan, Lucas Jordan, and cousin: Jerry and Jean Biela.
