Aunt Jene was a very special lady. I always loved our visits. She was a spunky lady. Two weeks before she passed my sister and I got to spend a wonderful day with her. We took her to get her hair cut and styled, went to her favorite restaurant, Garcia's for lunch and even stopped for an ice cream cone on the way home. She will forever be in my heart. I will truly miss her.

Jennie Pair left a message on April 25, 2021:
I met Jene as the step-mother to my neighbor John Patella soon after I moved into the neighborhood. We soon became friends as she and John were quite close and visited often. She depended on him, and he was quite attentive to her needs. She was a delightful lady, giving of herself as well, bringing gifts to me she thought I wanted or needed-a bird feeder, bird seed, even a corkscrew! My favorite memory was when we celebrated her 97th birthday and she treated John, Brenda, Connie, and myself to a trip to WinStar in Oklahoma. (Photo submitted) The Covid experience, of course, brought an end to our association, but I won’t soon forget her beautiful blue eyes and wonderful smile. God bless you, Jene!
