Carmon Oleta Scruggs, 93, passed away Saturday, July 23, 2016 in Glen Rose, TX.
Oleta was born May 2, 1923 in Throckmorton, TX to Joseph and Ina Hargrove. She was a generous, kind hearted woman who loved family and life. Oleta was a weekly attendee of the Church of Christ in Tolar. She was the ‘best waitress’ ever. Oleta is preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Marlin “Skeeter” Scruggs; son Dennis Scruggs; parents; 3 brothers and 4 sisters. Oleta is survived by one brother Vernon Hargrove and many extended family. In lieu of flowers, please give to Foster’s Home for Children in Stephenville, TX.
