Pat Revill, age 85, died Tuesday, March 6, 2018 after a serious illness. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 62 years, Jack Revill. Pat leaves behind one brother, William Cody, and three daughters: Rhonda and Steve Rose, Randi and Alan Vaughan, and Donna and Alan Schwark, as well as four grandsons: Jack and Brooke Coleman, John and Elizabeth Rose, Stephen and Katie Schwark, and Cody Schwark. Additionally, there are six great-grandchildren: Destiny Murphy, Olivia Rose, Lucy Rose, William Rose, Cannon Schwark, and Cavin Schwark.
Born February 10, 1933 in Dallas to Yandall and Ione Cody, Pat attended Crozier Tech High School and graduated from Abilene Christian University. Pat started working for the Dallas County Clerks Office in 1962 and then transferred to the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office where she served many years as Administrative Assistant to District Attorney Henry Wade, eventually retiring in 1979 as Court Coordinator for the Honorable Judge Richard Mays.
After retirement, Pat and Jack moved to DeCordova Bend, near Granbury, and became active in the DeCordova community. Pat was President of the Women’s Association, a member of the City Council, Mayor ProTem, and served as Mayor until her death. Pat was an active member of Acton United Methodist Church and the Seekers Sunday School Class.
Honorary Pallbearers are her sons-in-law: Steve Rose, Alan Vaughan, Alan Schwark, and Grandsons: Jack Coleman, John Rose, Stephen Schwark, Cody Schwark, and great-grandsons, Cannon Schwark, Cavin Schwark and William Rose.
Memorial services will be held Friday, April 6, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Action United Methodist Church, Acton, Texas. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the hospice facility, Vistas Community Connections at 6100 Western Place, Suite 800, Fort Worth, Texas 76107.
