As a young coach's wife, I sat beside Pat at many basketball games in Brownwood, TX where we became good friends. She attended every single game - ready to cheer her husband's (and sons') team on. Pat even seemed happy to let my pre-school boys climb in her lap. She was very knowledgeable of the game and knew when it was necessary to make suggestions to the refs! She was supportive, kind, loyal, warm and modeled a picture of the best kind of coach's wife for me. Pat will be dearly missed.

Pat and I were good friends throughout high school and were roommates our first year at Howard Payne in Brownwood. She was beautiful, smart and funny and we shared many good times throughout our friendship. My deepest condolences to Chet and the rest of her family.
