One time, the Eagle Mountain-Saginaw Retired School Employees group was badly in need of an auctioneer for our fundraiser. We did not know who to contact, but someone sent Paul to our rescue! What a nice person, and good man. He would not let us pay him. We have never forgotten him. His life was cut too short; he had lots more helping and giving to do. Rest peacefully, Mr. Spindor!

He was an incredible man. People respected and listened to him. He mentored and guided so many young people. He guided me; I knew to never complain to him about hard work. If you weren’t working hard then you weren’t working hard enough. He never missed a moment. He was there for all of them! We are going to miss him so much.

We have been down many trails. Paul always grabbed the heavy end when we had a job to do. He always set a high mark in everything he did. He is loved and missed and our family won’t be the same without him.
Vanessa Vaughan Jenkins left a message on December 31, 2020:
My heart is broken in a million pieces. Our lives were SO intermingled for SO many years. We were best friends, we were partners in life, we were besties. You never failed to say I Love You and I always knew you meant it. We traveled paths parallel for many years and then we, as Paul and Nessa were no more. You were my kindred spirit. You “got me” when others didn’t, our connections were deep, powerful and long lasting. I hope and pray that you’ll be another guardian angel for me because I know you’re dancing in heaven and looking down on us. Please give Daddy and Elmer big hugs for all of us. Take a big dip of snuff, kick your boots off and rest easy my Paul. You fought one hell of a battle and your job here on earth is done. Loves to my Podnah forevahhh!

We are so sorry for your loss. Paul was kind and thoughtful. Always willing to help from building fence, cleaning up a flooded house or providing meals. Our hearts hurt for you and please know you are in our thoughts and prayers. Paul will be missed.
