Pedro “Pete” Garcia

GRANBURY — Pedro “Pete” Garcia, 81, passed away Thursday, April 28, 2016 in Granbury.
Service: 2 p.m. Sunday, May 1, 2016 at Granbury Baptist Church.
Interment: Granbury Cemetery.
Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Wiley Funeral Home in Granbury.
Pedro was born Dec. 7, 1934 in Hebbronville to Valentine and Angelita Serna Garcia. He was a crane operator for H.B. Zachery and was an outdoor person. He liked to go to the lake and cook-out. Pedro enjoyed listening to music, old western movies and ministers on TV. He was funny and liked to joke around but was a private man.
Pedro was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Eloy, Amador, Guadalupe and Jesus.
Survivors: Children, Linda Thomas and husband, Derrell, Billy Garcia and wife, Sherry Reese, Cathy Pearson and husband, Eric, Vickie Lewis and husband, Ralph, Tony Yunek and wife, Beverly, Ann Miller and husband, Paul; companion and best friend, Pat Ruiz; grandchildren, Kirstie Thomas, T W Thomas, Stetson Garcia, Justin Garcia, Rachel Benedict, Regina Lewis, Daniel Lewis, Joshua Lewis, John Pearson, Amanda Pearson, Jake Pearson, Dylan Yunek, Tyler Yunek, Jason Miller and Nicolas Miller; many great grandchildren.
