So very sorry to hear of your passing while reading the Obituary of your son Matthew. We had a good friendship for several years starting when your family moved in next door to us in Mechanic Falls when Matt was about two, and I was pregnant with our son Joshua. You cooked for us while I was recovering from a C-section. Our friendship seemed to revolve around food. We would have some great Tuna sandwiches! I miss you, and have though of you often over the years. I will miss you, and I will no longer wait for that drop-in someday.

Heard about your passing yesterday Rachel. I am sad that I never had the opportunity to thank you for your friendship and kindness when we were just kids of thirteen years old. It was June of 1969. We were at the Dartmouth Middle School 8th grade graduation dance. You were the first girl I danced with that evening. You gave me the confidence to get my ass out on the dance floor and begin to enjoy the evening. From that point on I danced every song with yourself and many others. Your thoughtfulness carried on thru our high school years. Thank you. Rest in peace my friend.
