I have very fond memories of Mrs. Pearce. She was my home ec teacher in high school and was very good to me after my mother died my Junior year. She taught me a lot of my life skills that have made me the best wife and mother I could possibly be. My prayers are with her and her family.

I loved Mrs. Pearce! She was my Home Economists teacher for five years, at Irma Marsh Jr. High and Castleberry High School. She will forever be my favorite teacher and the person who had the most influence in my life. She loved teaching and loved her students. Everyone loved her and she was selfless and giving to all who knew her. She loved her family very much and they were so precious to her. I babysat in their home with Irma and Joey, from the time they were born and loved them dearly. My deepest condolences to the family and all who knew her. Our loss is heaven’s gain.

My goodness, another legend gone to rest. My mother was Doris Dowell, and the many stories I could share about Mrs. Pearce's and her relationship would fill a book. I even remember a very special interaction she had with my mom about me when I was a senior at CHS..cherished. I know it is never easy to lose a parent; my thoughts are with you all. Love and Light, ML
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

I knew Mrs. Pierce when she taught Home Economics at Castleberry HS. It was such a joy to see her and her husband again where Walter and I were organist/pianist respectively at Acton UMC for 14 years. I could count on seeing them in the same spot they sat in at church when they came. She was a very kind person and the students loved her. My brother, Kevin Maurer and Irma were in the same grade. May sharing memories of her keep her alive in your heart always. May God continue to be with you all during this time of grieving. Spiritual hugs... Echo and Walter Wilson Kevin and Verena Maurer
