Ravan W. Parten, 64, passed away  Friday, February 5, 2016 in Fort Worth .
Memorial Gathering: Family and friends are invited from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday, February 12, 2016 to the Hilton Garden Inn in Granbury, to share memories of Ravan.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation to Cook children’s Charities in honor of Raven and Allison K. Long, one of Ravens Special Heroes.
Ravan was born September 24, 1951 in Mineral Wells, Texas to Jeff Vance  and Rachel Pilgrim Walker, she married Joey Parten on June 13, 1969 in White Settlement, TX.  She was employed by the United States Postal Service for 34 years as a Postal Clerk and retired in 2002.  She lived in Fort Worth for thirty years prior to moving to Granbury 33 years ago.
She loved gardening, vacationing, watching old westerns and movies and being with her family;  her mother, Rachel and son, Danny.
Survivors:  husband, Joey Parten; son, Danny Parten of Denison, TX; mother, Rachel Heath of Granbury and brothers, Jay Walker of Jonesboro, TX   and Duke Walker of Fort Worth, TX, and a special friend, Sydney Davis of Denison, TX.
