Ray Cavasos, 80, from Granbury, Texas, passed away on July 9, 2016.

Doyle “Ray” Cavasos was born January 3, 1936, to John and Lois Cavasos. He graduated from high school, and later secured a job with Lockheed, from which he retired. Ray was a hard worker all of his life. He had a talent for wood working; as he crafted many bird houses from scratch. His hobbies included drag racing and being a mechanic. He was a wonderful husband, a great dad, and a generous grandpa.
Ray’s wife of 57 years, Virginia, will miss him dearly. He is also survived by his children, Kevin Ray and wife Toni, Kayla and husband Eddie, and also Kody and Chris. Ray is also survived by his grandchildren, Jeremy Ray and wife Shelly, and Kendall Marie. Two great-grandchildren, four step- grandchildren, seven step-great grandchildren, and his loving dog, Oreo, are survived by Ray. John Cavasos and Lois Welch preceded Ray in death.
