Ray Reed, 78, of Granbury passed away, January 23, 2019. Service will be held at 10:00 am, February 2, 2019 at Wiley Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Nubbin Ridge Cemetery; Visitation will be held from 9:00 am until service time.
Ray was born on July 26, 1940 in Littlefield, Texas to Clifford and Geraldine Reed. He married D. Ann on August 24, 1962 in Levelland, Texas. Ray and D. Ann shared an extraordinary love and his love extended to his grandsons. He enjoyed fishing, camping, nature and enjoyed working on and with computers.
He was a graduate of Dallas Institute of Funeral Service as a licensed Mortician. He was also was a graduate of West Texas State University in 1969. He was a former teacher at Granbury High School, where he taught Marketing and DECA for 24 years. He was preceded in death by his parents; Step-Dad: Garland Carlisle; brother: Doug Reed.
He is survived by his wife: D. Ann Reed; daughter: Lori Ann Smith and husband Adrian; grandsons: Jacob Smith and Joshua Smith; brother: Jim Reed and wife Cindy; sister-in-law: Phyllis Reed; step sister: Linda Fiveash; step brother: Larry Carlisle and wife Judy.
