I knew Becky through her brother Billy. Finding out about her tragic death shocked me. Becky was an amazing person. She was a great mom. When Billy and I would visit she made sure we were doing ok. She had way more patience than most people I know. When her brother would show up inebriated she would try to get him to eat. She and her sisters were always checking on their mom Betty. We lost touch when Billy and I went out separate ways. She and I crossed paths several years later and talked for about 30 minutes. Becky was a wonderful person and any one who knew her was blessed by her generous heart. My condolences to her children and family.

Words cannot express the overwhelming of sadness I'm feeling. When I feel sad & the tears begin to flow, I'm reminded of the kind & wise words of wisdom that Becky would give me. Although she may have been immersed in troubles of her own,she always managed to have time for me & was eager with an open ear. Lord knows she didn't candy coat her opinion, and for that I'm truly thankful. Nonetheless, she always showed me kindness & never failed to say: "I Love You Billy." I'm honored to have had the joy & privilege of calling Becky my sister & friend. She was rooted in true joy & loving others with compassion was her strongest trait. She was not only my sister, but a true friend to me indeed! I'm comforted in knowing that although she cannot walk back here to us,--one day we will see her again when we walk "HOME" to her. Where I know she will be waiting to greet us with open arms. YOUR LOVING BROTHER, Billy (Rusk,TX.)

Momma Russell i will forever miss you and beyond thankful for every minute we shared together. We both so hard to save Matthew and in the end help did not come soon enough. My hearts like it has never hurt before. I don't have the slightest clue as to how I am supposed to keep going without you here. The fact that I know that you are where you always wanted to be and free of pain, worry, and stress gives me some comfort and the ability to keep going right now. I love for eternity.

Prayers for all the people to whom Becky was a light in their life. I was fortunate to be a fellow math teacher with Becky at Boswell High School. She was a truly special lady.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Rebecca was such a beautiful, most caring and giving person we have ever met. When my husband and I had different surgeries she would be over here with food. We would tell her we did not need but would not take no . We would share with others what she gave us. We will miss her beautiful smiling face. She was a Godly woman and a woman to aspire to be. Our prayers to the family. RIP Teach. We will miss you.
