It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Richard George Holzheuser Jr., 76, of Granbury Texas. Richard went to his heavenly home on Monday, November 15, 2021.

Born December 22, 1944 in Roswell, New Mexico, Richard was the first born of Richard George Sr. & Dorothy Holzheuser of Rockport, Texas. Growing up, Richard enjoyed traveling the world, as his father was in the military. He enjoyed playing baseball in Germany, being a Scout Leader for the boy scouts, working on planes and becoming a licensed pilot. On October 13,1978, Richard married the love of his life Pamela Jean in Burkburnett, Texas raising their family in Burkburnett for 37yrs.

In his adult life he enjoyed all sorts of hobbies and continued with his passion for life. He was a 10-year member of The Bass Club and enjoyed fishing, as well as telling all the stories about the fish he would catch. Richard enjoyed the outdoors; he would frequently camp with the family at various lakes, go boating, he had an active deer lease where he would hunt. He also would build and fly remote control planes. Richard was an avid entertainer and loved to cook. You would often find him around the smoker preparing food for friends and family as he enjoyed entertaining others at his home. He was proud of the home remodeling projects he completed in his spare time.

Richard retired from Clark-lift of Wichita Falls after a 30-year career as a forklift mechanic and manager of the business. He was a devoted caring husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to many. Richard will be remembered always for his loving and generous nature.

Richard was preceded in death by his infant son, Kevin Wayne; brother, Michael as well as his parents Richard and Dorothy Holzheuser.

Surviving family members are his loving wife Pam of 43 yrs.

Children: sons, Robert Allen, Clinton Ray, Kyle Brandon and wife Kelly, daughter Brandy Wilkinson and husband Kelly

Grandchildren: Kevin, Chance, Blake, Par Wesley, Cruz Callaway, Cooper Greyson, and Tucker Frank

Great grandchildren: Hayden Allen, Kendal Thomas, Kolby Lee, Arabella Jo, & Maesie Jean

Sister, Dorothy Cline and her husband Richard and many precious nieces and nephews.

The Memorial and Celebration of Richard’s life will be Saturday, December 4^th, 2021 at 3:00 P.M. at     Bear Creek Community Church 18600 US-377, Cresson TX 76035
