Richard Matthew Alderson

August 3, 1974 - November 19, 2016

Richard Matthew Alderson, 42, passed away Saturday, November 19, 2016 from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.

The Boozefighters MC will be hosting a memorial service at noon on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at Chapter 69 Clubhouse, 1501 E. Bessie St. in Fort Worth. A benefit will follow and all are invited.

Memorial gifts may be made through the club to benefit fallen riders. Following his cremation his remains will be returned to his home place in Tennessee.

Richard Matthew Alderson was born August 3, 1974 in Cook County, Illinois. He was raised in northwestern Tennessee and southwestern Georgia. He was a decorated United States Army Veteran, with service in Bosnia, Afganistan and Korea. He also served in the United States Air Force and Army National Guard.

Mr. Alderson has lived in Fort Worth for the last 20 years where he worked as an aircraft mechanic. He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting and riding his motorcycle. He was an active member and officer in The Boozfighters Motorcycle Club where he was known as “Beaner”. He worked hard, he loved hard, and he played hard.

He was preceded in death by his father, Edward L. Alderson; maternal grandparents, Alexander and Elaine Collins; paternal grandparents, Reader and Agnes Alderson.

Survivors include his mother, Alice E. Alderson; sister, Meggen A. Alderson (David); nephews, Alden, Collin and Alexander Strickland of Springville, Tennessee; his girlfriend, Michelle George of Fort Worth; his first love, Linda Alderson; birth father, Richard Dohrn (Carol) of New Lenox, Illinois; birth paternal grandmother, Loraine Dohrn; step and adoptive siblings, Christina Nagle (Jay), Heather Rossi (Frank), Melissa Cullinane (Dan), Tim Alderson (Melody), Woody Alderson (Darla), Chad Alderson(Susan) and Anthony; numerous nieces and nephews that he loved.
