GRANBURY — Richard “Rick” Waldon, 51, passed away Friday, Feb. 12, 2016 in Fort Worth.
Memorial service: 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20, 2016, at Triple Cross Cowboy Church in Granbury.
Rick was born May 9, 1964 in Pauls Valley, Okla. to Robert Burl and Alta Faye Martin Waldon. He married Sandy Hunter Nov. 30, 1984 in Arkansas City, Ark. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was a supervisor for Scott’s Co. in Cresson. Rick was a number one fan to his kids sports events and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He enjoyed woodworking, remodeling homes and building furniture. He enjoyed every moment with his grandson, Mason. Rick was a member of Triple Cross Cowboy Church and was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Jimmy Waldon.
Survivors: Wife, Sandy Waldon; daughter, Whitney N. and Chris McLoed; son, Hunter Waldon; grandson, Mason McLoed; brother, Robin Waldon; mother, Alta Waldon; aunts and uncles, Terri and Gary Martin, Ross Martin, Teri Martin and Pamela Martin Flores; nephews, Aaron Waldon and Brandon Waldon; and several cousins.
