Richard Wines, 81, of Granbury, passed away on Saturday, April 7, 2018. Memorial service: 1:30 PM, Sunday, April 15, 2018, Indian Harbor Club House, 801 West Apache Trail, Granbury, Texas 76048.
Richard was born on November 17, 1936 in Van Nuys, California to Theodore and Jewel Wines. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. He was an electrician for Texas Steel and Miller Brewery.
Richard was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He loved baseball, fishing, and woodworking. One of his favorite things to do was to go to South Padre Island. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers: Theodore Wines and Douglas Wines.
Richard is survived by his loving wife of 46 years: Joyce Wines, children: Kerry Wines, Richard Allen Wines, Jr. and Shelly LaRee Basta and husband Wesley, grandchildren: Jennifer Thorne, Ashley Wines, Bradley Davis, Amy Wines, Arrin Davis and wife Amy, and Joshua Davis and wife Misty, 11 great-grandchildren, and siblings: Phillip Wines, Sr. and Carolyn Welch and husband John.
