William O’Neal Lyons

William O’Neal Lyons, 90, Retired United States Air Force Veteran, passed away on Sunday, December 4,2022 in Greenville, Texas. He was born January 21,1932 in Orangefield, Texas to Sam and Belle Laughlin Lyons.

William was a retired United States Air Force veteran and after serving for 27 years he was an Aircraft Mechanic with American Airlines. He and Alta Mae Tidwell were married January 24,1953 in Fort Worth. They were members of the First Baptist Church of Granbury. Alta Mae preceded him in death in 2017.

Mr. Lyons is survived by his daughters, Jonnie Renee McGlathery of Greenville, TX. and Betty Jo Watson and husband Mark of Trophy Club, TX.; granddaughters, Meredith Kennedy and Kim Jacks; great-grandson, Eli Jacks.

Funeral services and entombment was held at Holly Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel in Granbury under the direction of Wiley Funeral Home of Granbury.
