Robert “Bob” Neiert

Robert “Bob” Neiert, 91, passed away on Friday; March 19, 2021 in Fort Worth. He was born July 4, 1929 in Ogden, Utah to Otto William and Agnes Opal Morton Neiert. Bob enjoyed woodworking, traveling in his RV, sightseeing, and his dog Mitzi.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Sharon Neiert Schmitt and her husband Dennis, and by his first wife, Dorothy Neiert.

He is survived by his wife, Lea Neiert of Granbury; children, Barbara Maron and husband William of Naples, Florida, Bill Neiert and wife Kim of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, Barbara Cox of Arlington, Donna Carpenter and husband Terry of Willow Park, and David Hancock of Commerce; eleven grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; two sisters, Marian and Judy and two brothers, Richard and Otto.

Viewing will be from 10:30 am to 11am on Monday, March 22, 2021 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Granbury.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM. Monday, March 22, 2021 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 2301 Fall Creek Hwy, Granbury, Rev. Stephen Haverlah officiating. Graveside service and burial to follow at Holly Hills Memorial Park in Granbury.
