Robert “Bob” Connell, 81, passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2018. Memorial service: 10:30 AM, Saturday, February 10, 2018, Granbury Church of Christ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Christian Service Center, 1905 West Pearl Street, Granbury, Texas 76048.
Bob was born on October 4, 1936 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Francis and Sybilla Connell. Bob married Judy Dolan Thompson on October 18, 1958 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He was a master clock repairman of antique clocks and an airline mechanic for 36 years for American Airlines. He was an active member of Granbury Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Bob is survived by his wife of 59 years, Judith Ann Connell, daughter: Diane E. MacArthur of Fort Worth, son: Steven R. Connell and wife Marie of McKinney, grandsons: Matthew MacArthur of Allendale, Michigan, and Alexander Connell and Viktor Connell of McKinney, brothers: Edward Connell and wife Mary and Thomas Connell and wife Vernice and sister: Barbara Restelli, all of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, sister-in-law: Marilyn Blair Whitten and family of Harlem, GA, and various nieces and nephews.
