Granbury — Roberto von Versen, 73, passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2016, in Granbury, Texas.
Roberto was born on November 13, 1942 in Mexico to Guillermo and Manuela von Versen. He was born into a large family and had many nieces and nephews. He and Rhonda married in March of 1996. He loved outdoor sports, training his hunting dogs and watching his grandchildren grow. He was a talented welder and builder.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors: Wife, Rhonda von Versen; step daughters, Monica Wentworth and husband, Curtis, Felicia Puente; grandchildren, Kelsey and Kaden Wentworth and nephew, Humberto Milonas.
Many thanks to the wonderful Vitas hospice staff. They did an excellent job of taking care of Robert.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Vitas Hospice in his honor.
