Mr. Ronald Lewis Allen, 76, passed away at home in Saginaw on Wednesday, December 25, 2019.

A memorial service is scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, January 4, 2020 at St. Peter Church and Preschool, 15701 Cleveland Gibbs Road in Roanoke, TX 76262. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Ron’s life. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family has established an American Cancer Society donation page at http://main.acsevents.org/goto/ronaldlallen.

Ron was born on December 22, 1943 in Augusta, Maine to Warren and Mabel Allen. He served in the United States Army for 20 years and retired in 1981 at the rank of Sergeant First Class. He was an avid Ford enthusiast and enjoyed collecting diecast cars and working on Ford Mustangs.

 

Ron is survived by his wife, Linda; their children, Sandy Zimmerman and her husband Mike, Ron Allen and his wife Maegan; grand-daughters, Irene and Jaynie; brother, Edward Allen; and sister, Judy Achtellik.
