Ronald Chris Sinn, 78, of Granbury, passed away on Tuesday, April 3, 2018. Celebration of Life: 1:00 PM, Sunday, April 29, 2018, American Legion Post 491, on Davis Road in Granbury, Texas.
Ron was born May 9, 1939 in Omaha, Nebraska to Chris and Helen Runty Sinn. He had a full life having been a farmer, steelworker, bodyman with Campbell’s Body Shop and owner of Ron’s Body Shop and Ron’s Tires in Granbury. He was a bondsman with Alley Cat Bail Bonds, a longtime landlord, and bar owner and owner and co-owner of other businesses.
Ron loved and helped everyone he could over his lifetime. He had a full life of travelling and raising stepchildren. He was a past commander of the AML Post 491, served in various SAL positions and was an Honorary Lifetime Member. Ron was also a Mason. Known as the “Mayor” of Rancho Brazos Subdivision, he drove his golf cart and passed out candy to the children he knew on his daily travels. Ron was preceded in death by his wife, Arlene Hamm Sinn, who passed away in August of 2014.
Ron is survived by his friend and caregiver of 12 years, Debbie Hanson.
