Roy, the middle of three children, was born on July 27, 1932 in Fort Worth, Texas to Isaac and Vera Cline. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He lived in Hood County for more than 50 years. Roy loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing and ranching. He also enjoyed visiting the casinos. He was preceded in death by his wife: Nelda Cline, one sister and one brother
Roy is survived by his wife: Jacquita Cline of Granbury, children: Cynthia Cline Crumpton of Granbury, Roy Lee Cline, Jr. and wife Yvonne of Weatherford, Patrick Cline and wife Kim of Granbury, stepsons: Mark York and Sheryl Altair, and Derald York and Reva Heron of New Mexico, grandchildren: Andrea Pritchard of Acton, Maine, Dylan Cline of Tyler, Jeremiah Cline, and Jonathon Cline of Granbury, Donothan York and Kentrena Bohm of Denver, Colorado, great-grandchildren: Aiden and Bailey Pritchard, Lucy Belle and Zefflin York and numerous nieces and nephews.
