Ruth Ann Conklin White, April 16, 1960 – September 23, 2021. “Well done! My good and faithful servant!” would have been the words Ruth White heard on the afternoon of Thursday; September 23, 2021 when she met her Lord and Savior face to face. Ruth passed away in Granbury, Texas. She was born April 16, 1960 in Fort Jackson, South Carolina to Ray and Lois Conklin. Ruth spent most of her childhood with her five siblings growing up to be a beautiful teenager. She met Robert (Bob) White on January 1, 1983 and they were married May 20, 1983. They then moved to and settled in Granbury, Texas in 1998. Ruth would always share with others that “having children” could be the best, yet most challenging times in a person’s life. She loved the challenges of motherhood, as she and Bob raised four beautiful children, Andrew, Jesse, Liz and Christel.

In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family ask that you follow Ruth’s servant heart and consider making a donation to or become a Bridge Builder at Forward Training Center by calling Julia (817) 308-7427.

A Celebration of Ruth’s Life and to share memories will be held from 5:00pm. to 7:30pm. on Friday; October 22, 2021 at Forward Training Center, Building B; 600 W. Pearl Street in Granbury.

I first met Ruth when I took the "JFL" class at Forward "Training Center and she was my teacher. When I found out this was not her full time profession I was surprised. To me it seemed like she had been doing this all her life. I realized from the beginning what a loving, kind, thoughtful and amazing woman she was. After every class she always took the time to talk to me and answer any questions I had. I always gave her a hug after every class! She always had a smile for anyone she came in contact with or could make you laugh at the drop of a hat. I am so very very fortunate that I got to know her and she was my Friend and I thought of her as Family. I will never forget her. Ruth will be in my heart and thoughts always.
