Amy, my name is Dean King. I worked with your mom Ruth for a few yrs. as an Ed Diagnostician with Sp. Ed. Co-Op in Hillsboro from 1991 til abt. 1995 when she later transfered to Granbury. We were good friends. I remembered attending your dad Kyle's funeral in Granbury. Ruth was a sweet lady and friend and I am so sorry to hear abt. passing away. I had been trying to call her for the last couple of years and had wondered what had happened to her. Please respond by e-mail . I would be interested in her last years of life. Thank you. Dean King

Our parents gave us 25 cents for lunch to buy a hamburger, Coke, and brownie at Woosley’s Store. Sometimes Ruth would spend her quarter for a banana split. On the way home from school, she would warn me to NOT TELL HER MOTHER!!!????
Goldye Wallace left a message on May 5, 2018:
From the day in 1947 when I rode my bike around the corner and met a little red-headed girl playing in her yard on Austin Street, Ruth and I were best friends. We spent time together nearly every day until we were seniors in high school. Then we were college roommates. Although distance kept us apart as we were adults, Ruth will always be my best friend forever! I’m so sorry for your loss Amy.

I remember going to the movies with Aunt Ruth and Uncle Kyle when they were dating. I vaguely remember their wedding. But the best memory I have is the two weeks my sister, Tina and I spent with them one summer. Good times! The opera in heaven must be amazing.
